Raivo Kiisk wanted a website for his debt counseling service and so we met online.
Raivo needed a site that even the simplest person can undestant.
At the same time it shouldn't be so laconic that his own reputation diminishes - a good lawyer must give off trustworthy air and so should his website.
He already had some design work done before. He had logo, some patterns and style guides and those I took into consideration.
Contact form should be immediately visible upon landing on the page.
Because his design material wasn't in a suitable vector format I first tackled that issue and vectorized everything. Additionally I created some illustrations and some custom background shapes. An interesting detail is a signature which I traced with Raivos approval. Later we could use simple animations to reveal it on the page.

As always I started with getting on the same page with the client. For that purpose I created some examples of the home page, which the client really liked. After some minor tuning I could start with subpages.
As client liked the hexagon pattern I used it wherever I could get away with it without getting repetitive or tastless. I also used some neat corporate illustrations and bog standard UI patterns that everyone is familiar with. Minimalistic and calm font/color choice keeps the tone professional and illustrations help alleviate the lack images.
